Leicester Riders (WSLB) landed 20-year old Welsh 170cm guard Daisy Porter for new season. Porter is not a newcomer in British League as she played most recently at Loughborough Riders in the WNBL D1. In 19 games she averaged 10.6ppg, 4.3rpg, 3.3apg and 3.2spg last season. Good year as she was voted League Player of the Week.
She was selected to Eurobasket.com All-English WNBL Honorable Mention in 2024.
The previous (2022-23) season she played at Wolves where in 18 WSLB games she had 4.4ppg, 1.9rpg, 1.6apg and 1.6spg in that year.
She represented Wales at the European Championship (FIBA EuroBasket) U16 Division C in Chisinau (Moldova) five years ago. Her stats at that event were 4 games: 9.0ppg, 4.8rpg, 3.0apg, Steals-2(5.0spg), FGP: 36.8%, FT: 61.5%.
